In preparation for future transit demands associated with existing and future commercial and residential economic development projects in Central and Eastern Suffolk County, LIRR is considering 2 alternatives for relocating its existing Yaphank Station to a new site east of the current station.
WAE will be responsible for providing Civil, Electrical and Mechanical services to identify track outages for construction, new station construction and upgrades to allow electrification & signalization throughout the new station.
