Wayne Allen, P.E.,
President and Founder of W. Allen Engineering
Wayne Allen, P.E. is the founder of W. Allen Engineering PLLC (WAE) and established the firm in 2007. Mr. Allen holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and is a licensed professional engineer in NY, NJ, PA, & VA. Mr. Allen has worked as a Naval Officer for the Civil Engineer Corps and as a Contract Administrator for NYC Department of Design and Construction & NYC Department of Sanitation. Prior to founding his firm, Mr. Allen worked for consulting engineering firms as Project Manager, Resident Engineer, Chief Inspector, & Senior Inspector for various agencies including NYC Department of Design and Construction, NYC Department of Transportation, NYS Department of Transportation, NYS Thruway Authority, NYC Department of Environmental Protection, NYC Transit Authority, and various MTA divisions. As President of WAE, Mr. Allen is responsible for management of the Construction Inspection & Special Inspections Divisions, oversight for the MEP Design Division, marketing & new business development, financial management of the firm, and corporate quality assurance. He is also responsible for providing strategic planning and corporate leadership for WAE.

Senior VP of Traffic Signal and Street Lighting
Kass Negash, Senior Vice President of our new Traffic Signal and Street Lighting Division, has over 35 years of solid and diversified engineering experience that includes projects planning and design, as well as, construction management. His positions held ranged from Field Engineer to highly responsible supervisory positions of Borough Engineer and Capital Project Coordinator for City-wide NYC Lighting Infrastructure Design and Construction.
Eric Jennings,
VP of Information Technology
Eric Jennings, Vice President of our Information Technology division, brings 15+ years of technical experience to the company. He has worked in both the private sector and DoD Government Contracts. Mr. Jennings holds a masters degree in Information Security with a focus in Cyber Security. Mr. Jennings has lead several teams in successfully managing large networks and implementing new and innovative technologies.
John McCann
Senior Mechanical Engineer
McCann interests are in the field of management, commissioning, and design of piping and mechanical systems. He has over 20 years working within the engineering field. He has led his department in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems and fire alarm systems such as boiler plants, microturbine cogeneration plant designs, geothermal heat pump systems, restaurants, high rise office buildings, residential buildings, educational facilities, museums, retail, and critical systems, chiller plants, pump stations, UPS and electrical room.
Lawrence Adeniyi, P.E.
Senior Electrical Engineer
A Senior Electrical project engineer with more than 12+ years of technical experience to the company. He has worked in the private sector and is currently a veteran with the NYS ARNG. Lawrence holds a masters degree in Electrical Engineering and is NYS licensed P.E. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD. Experience in MEP and mission critical design
Muath Bani-Hani, P.E. PhD, LEED AP
Muath Bani-hani, PhD, LEED AP, P.E. Mechanical Engineer, Mr. Banihani has 8+ years of experience providing design services for HVAC, firestop, water supply, and plumbing. He completed his MSc and PhD in Mechanical Engineering at SUNY Buffalo. He is LEED AP certified and has several publications; he’s a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
