Certified Safety Professional

Internal expert for significant area of knowledge the Certified Safety Specialist reviews the project safety related plans and procedures, providing expert guidance in the implementation and monitoring of project and system safety. Project tasks include: job site safety reviews, performing inspections and witnessing acceptance testing of fire protection and life safety systems; construction inspection services; loss investigation services; technical consultant services; conducting fire protection facility surveys; developing risk reduction strategies and recommendations to mitigate identified risk conditions; maintenance program for fire protection and life safety systems; and developing and completing fire and life safety evaluation worksheets. The Certified Safety Professional provides the following services: Professional and technical assistance with start- up, calibration, and/or certification of a facility or operating systems within a facility, to include commissioning of fire protection and life safety systems and equipment. Construction Inspector

An Inspector examines construction operations for conformity to established specifications and drawings as well as applicable standards, ordinances and regulations, by performing any combination of the following duties: examines materials for quality and constructed items for defects and for conformance to specifications, visually and using sample models and instruments, such as scales, gauges, templates, calipers, micrometers, and meters, and as-built and design drawings; verifies that established standards are maintained relative to such matters as building and facilities and business practices, operations and services. The Inspector reviews licenses and permits or ascertains that licenses and permits have been obtained and are displayed, confers with officials, interprets regulations, and codes, and assists establishments in altering methods and practices to meet established standards.

Cost Estimator/ Cost Analyst

The Cost Estimator/Cost Analyst applies professional knowledge of the process of developing a construction estimate based on appropriate indices and the knowledge of construction procedures, and, using available plans and drawings, provides an independent assessment of the cost of completing a project. The Cost Estimator will provide analysis based on their experience and input from sources familiar with the type of work to be performed as to where the cost drivers lie in the project and any possible alternatives that might amount to a cost savings. The Cost Estimator/ Cost Analyst will present findings as required to familiarize project management with the methods used to calculate project cost and the rationale for any recommendations.

Provides, develops technical solutions for planning and engineering studies and analysis. Plans project coordination and management. Project tasks include: Design reviews; Shop drawing/submittal reviews; Inspection and testing services; Witnessing acceptance tests of equipment and systems: Commissioning services; Modeling and analysis; Loss investigation; Facility surveys; Safety evaluations; Research studies; Risk mitigation analysis, reporting, and consulting; Strategy development relating to engineering projects/programs; Review certificates of inspections, test, and approvals required by laws and regulations or contract documents. Reviews the construction constructor’s certifications for compliance with the contract documents.

Program Manager

A recognized expert in technical or professional field with excellent professional and contract management skills, the Program Manager: Maintains a coordinating relationship with the Program Owner, architect-engineers, construction contractors and other contractors supporting the work; Assigns and performs spot checking, selective sampling, and similar methods of general observation of the work; Establishes all necessary liaisons, coordination, and support with any project-related agencies and representatives of federal, state, regional, and local governments as appropriate for each task order. Develops programs, projects, and applies strategic problem-solving skills leading to timely solutions to complex construction management program issues. Defines program and project scope - Prepares and monitors project Work Plan, Quality Plan, Schedules, and coordinates project resource efforts toward objectives. Project Manager

Possessing strong professional skills, the Project Manager position supports the Task Order objectives by taking responsibility for management of one or more aspects of the Task Order. The Project Manager reviews project plans and procedures, develops project metrics, and provides professional expert advice regarding complex project issues. The Project Manager engages engineers, contractors, inspectors, schedulers, and estimators to continuously monitor the project status and to recognize and facilitate the resolution of issues before they impact the project. The Project Manager exercises independent judgment and evaluation in applying professional skills to the development of technical solutions. The Project Scheduler applies professional knowledge of the process of developing a construction schedule based on commercially available scheduling software, and the knowledge of construction procedures, and, using available plans and drawings, provides an independent assessment of the schedule for completing a project. The Scheduler will provide analysis based on their experience and input from sources familiar with the type of work to be performed as to the interaction of project activities and the impact of each activity on overall project progress. The Scheduler will present findings as required to familiarize project management with the methods used to evaluate the project schedule and the rationale for any recommendations.

Internal expert for significant area of knowledge the QA/QC Manager/ Specialist reviews the project plans and procedures, providing expert guidance in the implementation and monitoring of project and system quality. The QA/QC Manager/ Specialist leads the development of project quality plans, establishing procedures for monitoring the work, checkpoints for quality assessments, procedures for managing non-conformances, and procedures for achieving project acceptance. The QA/QC Manager/ Specialist will implement a system of documentation for tracking project performance and the resolution of any quality issues. The QA/QC Manager/ Specialist will be responsible for regular updates to project management regarding project performance and any outstanding issues.

Risk Assessor/ Manager

The Risk Assessor/ Manager is responsible for the review and monitoring of the project Risk Management Program. Beginning with a comprehensive risk assessment the project will identify project risks and the method of addressing each project risk or project opportunity. The Risk Assessor/ Manager will maintain and periodically review the risk register with the project team to ensure that identified risks are addressed and that new risks are evaluated and a plan to address them developed and implemented. The Risk Assessor/ Manager will periodically report the status of project risk, the actions taken to address risks and the remaining risks identified by the project team, as well as any risks not addressed to program management.
